She later earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an Associate of Nursing Degree. Wedderburn also earned three specialty certifications in Wound Care, Diabetic Wound Care and Ostomy Management. Those qualifications helped shape her work in a field that demanded skill, patience, and attention to detail. By the time she received the award, she had spent 17 years at the HSA.
