CAYMAN, Cayman Islands, 8 March 2020 – Higgs
& Johnson continues to receive praise from well-regarded
international legal directories on its level of service, especially
in the area of real estate. This praise is based on feedback from
clients with whom the international ranking directories independently
liaise as part of their research. Country Managing Partner, Gina
Berry, who spearheads the real estate department in the Cayman
Islands is quick to indicate that “the strength of the department

While

Berry feels that it is important to share the spotlight with two of
the women in the real estate team who play a supporting role and make
this success possible.

Cool,
calm and collected are some of the adjectives used to describe Delia
Bunce, who has assisted Berry for the last 13 years. Bunce,
originally from South Africa, has many years of paralegal experience
in South Africa and the United Kingdom, prior to losing her heart to
the Cayman Islands, which she has called home for the last 15 years.
Bunce’s attention to detail, commitment to client satisfaction and
sunny personality are just a few of the attributes that cause clients
not only to come back, but to refer their friends and family to the
Firm. When Bunce is not working, she especially enjoys outdoor
activities with her two daughters and her husband.

Veronica
Fierro is another powerhouse who brings to the table her strong work
ethic, multi-lingual capabilities, quick wit and background in the
maritime industry. Fierro, originally from Chile but who spent much
of her earlier life in Norway, has called the Cayman Islands home for
the last 28 years. Fierro’s strong work ethic makes her a perfect
fit for this exceptionally busy department. When Fierro is not in the
office, she can be found in her garden, or with her grandson, or
perhaps diving in Cayman’s crystal, clear waters.

Berry
noted that Higgs & Johnson celebrates women’s day every day, as
it provides opportunities for strong women to take leadership
positions and succeed. In relation to the real estate department,
Berry says it is only right that her success be shared with these
phenomenal women who work tirelessly by her side, as she believes
