Juliana May Myers crowned Miss Universe Cayman Islands 2026

Juliana May Myers has been crowned Miss Universe Cayman Islands 2026 following the national pageant held on Saturday, July 11, at the historic Pedro St. James Castle.
Myers was announced as the new titleholder after competing alongside other representatives from across the Cayman Islands. She will now take on the role of representing the Cayman Islands at the 75th Miss Universe pageant, which is scheduled to take place in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in November 2026.
The Diamond Anniversary edition of the international competition will be held at the iconic José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum, bringing together delegates from around the world for the global event.
The crowning ceremony also marked the official transition of the title from outgoing Miss Universe Cayman Islands Tahiti Seymour to Myers.
Seymour handed over the crown to the newly crowned queen during the ceremony, symbolising the continuation of the Miss Universe Cayman Islands legacy. During her reign, Seymour used the platform to champion causes important to the Cayman Islands, including food security through her “Beyond the Crown: Zero Hunger” initiative, which focused on raising awareness about sustainable food systems and encouraging greater engagement in agriculture.
Seymour also highlighted creative and cultural advocacy as a key part of her tenure, using her position to promote representation, education, and social impact while showcasing Caymanian identity on a wider stage. She represented the Cayman Islands at the Miss Universe 2025 competition in Thailand.
Following her crowning, Myers received congratulations from organisers, supporters, and members of the community as she begins her reign and prepares for her international journey.
Tameka was named 1st runner-up, while 2nd runner-up Marlena Williams was also recognised. Organisers also celebrated all contestants for their dedication, preparation, and commitment throughout the competition. The event highlighted the achievements of the participants and their efforts to represent the Cayman Islands with confidence, strength, and pride.
As part of her prize package, Myers will receive a custom crown featuring Czechoslovakian crystals and rhodium-plated cubic zirconia by Ricardo Patraca, along with a three-year CI $70,000 educational scholarship provided by the Ministry of Tourism & Trade Development. Her rewards also include travel support with Cayman Airways, wellness experiences, luxury stays, professional services, and gifts from sponsors.
Myers will now begin preparations for her journey to the Miss Universe stage, where she will carry the Cayman Islands’ flag and represent the country during the 75th anniversary edition of the international competition.
