Volvo Group, the world's second biggest truck manufacturer, has forecast stagnant demand in Europe and the United States in 2025, extending a slowdown in the second half of 2024 following record sales in 2023 that were driven by a post-pandemic high in freight and construction activity. 

Lundstedt is an industry veteran who has been at the helm of Volvo for nearly a decade, steering the group through the pandemic demand slump and supply chain disruptions. 

Reuters Auto Correspondent Abhirup Roy sits down with Lundstedt to discuss Volvo's near-term strategy, including plans to navigate the macro-economic challenges while leading the group to its electrification and automation goals.
