Dentons Cayman appoints new Partners to expand its Corporate/Funds team
Dentons has recently appointed both
Jonathan Bernstein and Ben Booker as Partners in its thriving Cayman
Islands’ office. Both attorneys have over 15 years of legal
experience respectively, with over 10 years in the Cayman Islands.
Jonathan has a broad private funds
practice focused on advising fund sponsors on the structuring and
ongoing operation of funds, co-investment vehicles, unit trusts and
segregated portfolio companies. Jonathan also advises institutional,
strategic and seed investors in connection with their investments
into funds. Before joining Dentons, he was a Partner in the funds
department of another prominent law firm in Cayman. He will now be
the Head of Funds for Dentons Cayman.
Ben advises clients on corporate, fund
and trust structuring together with related governance, regulatory
and transactional matters. Ben previously served as the Managing
Director of a trust company in the Cayman Islands where he worked
with a wide range of multi-national firms, funds, institutional,
private client and family offices. He is now the Head of Corporate &
Trusts for Dentons Cayman.
Managing Partner, David Dinner, stated

firm’s commitment to growth in the investment funds sector”.
Other notable
additions to the firm include Brian Patterson as Senior Corporate
Counsel who has a wealth of experience, particularly in the insurance
sector, along with Sylvester Dube, a Corporate/Funds Associate who
will work closely with the Partners. Former Grand Court Judge, the
