Local sports apparel,
footwear and accessories retailer, Sportista, will be hosting a free
sports and fitness expo on Saturday, 27 July from 9am to 6pm at the
Arts and Recreation Centre (ARC) at Camana Bay, and organisers are
encouraging members of the public to come out and connect with the
many sports and fitness organisations in the community and learn more
about their products and services.

The
team at Sportista has just celebrated the store’s first
anniversary, and manager Josephine Montoya said that the idea for the
Expo came about through discussions with customers and various
community partners.

“Our
vision for this Expo is to bring local sports and fitness
organisations, groups and individuals together to share and learn
about the latest initiatives and trends in the industry. Exhibitors
will have the opportunity to showcase their business or products and
also engage with potential customers. Ultimately, we hope that the
event will result in the creation of new partnerships within the
sports and fitness community here in Cayman and increase awareness of
the many options available for people who are looking to live an
active lifestyle,” said Miss Montoya.

Various
activities and demonstrations from the exhibitors will take place
throughout the day, and there will be food and drinks vendors.
Exhibitors will include gyms, fitness centres, sports clubs and
non-profit sport associations.
