Two men were arrested in Cayman Brac on Thursday after police said they found suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia during a search on West End Road. Officers responded shortly after 13:30 to reports of suspicious behaviour, searched the area under the Misuse of Drugs Act, and later searched a nearby vehicle, where the suspected drugs and paraphernalia were found, according to the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service.

The force did not detail the quantity of suspected drugs recovered, whether the vehicle belonged to either man, or whether any other person at the scene was being treated as a suspect.

Two men taken into custody

RCIPS arrested two men, aged 25 and 24, on suspicion of possession and consumption of ganja and cocaine. They were taken into police custody following the search.

The case remains under police investigation.
