My stance to same-sex marriage is an
emphatic NO!!!

My stance to the statements by a number
of our MLA;s in the LA to deport Dr Leo Raznovich, who is a legal
resident here, is an emphatic NO!!!

I find the rhetoric in the LA yesterday, especially from Anthony Eden and Ezzard Miller, appalling.

I find it incredulous that Eden said
Raznovich should not be allowed to criticise the traditions of this
country on the international stage.

What is he going to propose to stop him
– have him shot?

Dr. Raznovich and I have 'spoken' by
email (we have never met in person) about same sex marriage and my
very, very, strong views why I am against it. He never once cursed me
out, called me names, and wanted me put before a firing squad!

I fervently wished he had respected our
Country's views on same sex marriage and accepted the decision by the
Appeals Court that we must agree to same sex relationships, and give
them the same protections as married couples but they cannot marry
here.

I said at the time the decision they
made was not going to please either parties 100%.

I was right.

I disagree 100 per cent on the Doctor's 'crusade' and his stance to appeal the decision and not respect the views that might seem 'outdated' today but, THANK GOD, we do have here.

Dr. Raznovich is, like me, a 'guest' in a beautiful peaceful island. One of the few left. A guest should respect his hosts.

Words of 'war' from the Doctor has, to some extent, encouraged (or enraged) the words of 'war' that have come back from out of the LA.

I deplore both and I will fight them all with the strongest word in our vocabulary – a FOUR letter word:

LOVE.

Sadly, neither side has shown any.
