Second male charged in George Town shooting

A second male age 26-years was charged today with attempted murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm; he is due in court this afternoon.

The male was arrested on Wednesday, 7th May 2014.  These charges relate to the shooting in George Town on Saturday, 03rd May 2014.

• The following junctions will be closed from 2.00pm to 6:30 pm this Saturday (10th May) to facilitate the kids-Batabano parade.
• Boilers Road at the junction of South Church Street
• North Church Street at the junction of Mary Street
• Shedden Road at the junction of Mary Street
• Fort Street at the Town Clock
• Mary Street at the junction of Dr. Roys Drive
• Hospital Road at the junction of Elgin Avenue
• Shedden Road at the junction of Elgin Avenue
