RCIPS investigating the sudden death of a 30-year-old Canadian woman found unresponsive in West Bay on Friday

Police are investigating the sudden death of a 30-year-old Canadian woman who was found unresponsive in Grand Cayman on Friday afternoon, 17 July.

RCIPS and emergency services attended an address off Batabano Road in West Bay, and a doctor pronounced the woman dead.

Police say the woman lived in Cayman.

Police did not release further details about the condition in which the woman was found, or about the events that led up to the response.

No cause of death has been publicly confirmed, and the investigation is ongoing.

The RCIPS has expressed condolences to the woman’s family and friends.
