Wear Red for Heart Disease and the Cayman Heart Fund. A heart inspired dress down day for charity

February
is Heart Month
a
month-long initiative to help raise awareness about cardiovascular
disease and its effects. Wear Red in your school, workplace and
neighborhood and please raise funds for the Cayman Heart Fund. Get
into the team spirit and pick up your own “Wear Red for Heart
Month” T-shirts which are available at the Cayman Heart Fund,
Balance Cayman and Audi Camana Bay.

Heart
Month is a fantastic way to remind everyone to focus on their hearts
and encourage them to get their families, friends and communities
involved.

The most
important thing you can do is to speak to your physician about your
risks and know your numbers by checking for blood pressure,
cholesterol, sugar levels, weight, and BMI.

For
the past 13 years the Cayman Heart Fund has worked diligently in the
community raising funds to increase awareness about the risks for
heart disease and stroke.

This
Heart Month Team Nolan will be hosting the Heart Warriors &
Angels Beach Walk Sunday, February 9th
2020 at the Seven Mile Beach from 7am. CHF will be hosting our Heart
Hero’s Brunch on Sunday, February 16th
2020 at the Ristorante Pappagallo from 11:30am – 3pm.

To
qualify, participants are asked to visit email
info@Caymanheartfund.com
and donate to the Cayman Heart Fund (CHF) an amount of $20.00 or
more. Everyone that donates will receive an CHF T-shirt. Take a
picture and send us wearing Red.

Coordinator
for the CHF, Angelique Bodden, is grateful to the community for their
support and encourages residents to contact the CHF to share wear red
photos and inspiring stories on how they are honouring heart month.
