State of Business Today + July 30th Invite Inside

“We are made to persist. That is how we find out who we are.” Tobias Wolff

I recently hosted the State of the Global Startup Business Ecosystem session, and one thing was crystal clear: entrepreneurs everywhere are feeling the weight of economic shifts, market slowdowns, and social uncertainty. The frustration is real — and so is the fatigue.

But here’s the truth I shared during the call: this is a defining season. It's the season that separates the talkers from the builders. It’s tough, yes — but also filled with opportunity. The entrepreneurs who stay the course, adapt with intention, and build with purpose will come out stronger, sharper, and more aligned.

So what can you do now? Treat this season as your test. A test of clarity, consistency, and conviction. Eliminate distractions. Focus on what fuels your mission. Move with simplicity and strategy.

Here’s what I’ve personally shifted over the last few months to streamline and grow across my companies:

1. Simplify to Scale

I’ve revisited all past ventures to strip away the noise — reducing our tech tools, narrowing our focus to just 1–2 core marketing strategies, and building a daily workflow that’s clear, light, and consistent (3 key actions max per day). Clarity breeds momentum.

2. Reimagine the Client Journey

In today’s market, a disjointed offer suite won’t cut it. We revamped our entire product ecosystem into a cohesive experience ladder — starting with an entry-level offer that delivers quick results and guiding clients toward deeper, more transformational experiences. If your business doesn’t lead your client through a clear journey, you risk losing them.

In short, persistence isn’t about doing more — it’s about doing what matters with greater intention. Stay grounded in your purpose, move with clarity, and build systems that serve your vision.

This is your season to rise. Keep going — your breakthrough is on the other side of consistency.

Best,

Christine Ntim
