BRINGING JOY AND CELEBRATION TO FAMILIES AND THOSE IN NEED

Town, Cayman Islands, 15 June 2020 – For every gift or floral order
made in celebration of Mother’s Day, Celebrations Ltd donated KYD
$5 towards local charity Feed Our Future, raising a total of KYD
$2,110. The initiative will continue leading up to the Father’s Day
celebrations on Sunday, June 21st.

Located
at 64 Kingbird Warehouse Park, the rental and retail company closed
its doors following the island-wide shut down on March 16th. Only 6
days prior to Mother’s Day, celebrated on Sunday, May 10th,
Celebrations Ltd received the long awaited news that business could
commence and reopened.

Celebrations
Owner Jo-Anne Brown stated, “With very little time to inform the
general public of our offerings and with restrictions still in place,
our team thought that we would be so fortunate if able to do half of
the sales we did in 2019. To our delight and surprise, we did a total
of 422 orders which far exceeded our 2019 numbers.”

“Amid
the coronavirus pandemic, the new normal has already caused a shift
in our day-to-day lives but the Celebrations team is pleased to have
the resources to commence even in a pandemic — and create a means
to share joy and celebration to those who are struggling. We are so
grateful to the Cayman community for their continuous support,” she
added.

Our Future Chairperson Stacey Vandevelde said, "Special
occasions like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day present an
opportunity to show appreciation and acknowledge all that Moms and
Dads do and represent. Celebrations known for their unique and
breathtaking floral creations, identified a way to carry the gift of
floral forward through an added and generous gesture that surely will
make all parents' hearts happy. For every floral arrangement sold, a
donation is pledged to Feed Our Future sponsoring a healthy meal for
a child in need in our community. When you love someone you feed

welcome their part in encouraging the Cayman community to express
their love for all Mothers, Fathers and children in our beautiful
Islands.”
