Grand Cayman, 17 January 2023 – The Ministry of Health and Wellness is aware of the circulation of a false news story stating flight restrictions have been put in place in the Cayman Islands due to a new COVID-19 variant.

The Ministry can confirm that this is indeed false and urges the public to only obtain information from reputable and confirmed sources.
