Jamaica Ponzi scheme may impact US charity linked to Royal Family

MIAMI, USA -- On the eve of the 35th charity gala put on by the American Friends of Jamaica (AFJ) in Miami, whose patron of honour in previous years has been The Prince of Wales, it has come to light that a former director and treasurer of AFJ is Mark Jones, who was arrested last month on charges of operating a US$10 million Jamaican “Bridge Loan Fund” Ponzi scheme.
