As
previously announced, the Ombudsman – who has oversight of public
complaints involving the police and their use of force – is
investigating the pursuit.

Video
recordings depicting certain viewpoints of the pursuit and its
aftermath have already circulated widely around the community. If any
residents are in possession of further video recordings of the
incident, or any residents were at the location where the pursuit
terminated and saw what occurred, we would like them to contact our
office.
