Cayman: Man Arrested Following Arson in George Town

Shortly before 2:30AM yesterday, 10 June, police responded to a report of a vehicle on fire at an address on July Street, in George Town. The fire appeared to have been deliberately started. The CI Fire Service attended the scene and extinguished the fire. No one was injured during the incident.

Following enquiries, officers later arrested a man, age 38 of George Town, who is known to the owner of the vehicle, on suspicion of arson. He remains in custody as investigations continue.
