From RCIPS

Shortly after 7:30AM, 2 December, an RCIPS motorcycle, which was responding to an incident, was involved in a traffic collision with a private SUV. The RCIPS motorcycle had lights and sirens activated, and both vehicles were travelling westbound on the Linford Pierson Highway, when they collided. The officer received minor injuries and was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital and later discharged. The driver of the private vehicle was uninjured.

The matter is under investigation.
