An AMSR2 microwave satellite of #Kirk from about an hour ago shows a mid-level eye (seen in the 89 GHz/ice scattering frequency). Not as pronounced at low/mid levels (the 36 GHz/warm rain frequency), perhaps due to tilt, but lines up nicely with the warm core the plane found.
