Hurricane Harvey's real story begins: 40 inches of rain to bring catastrophic flooding to southeast Texas
Harvey made landfall near Rockport, Texas with winds of 130 mph at 10 pm CDT.
Harvey is now a Category 1 hurricane with 80 mph.
Harvey will soon stall or meander for several days, leading to a threat of catastrophic flooding in parts of Texas.
Dangerous storm-surge flooding, damaging winds and a couple tornadoes are also threats.
Hurricane, tropical storm and storm surge warnings have been issued for parts of Texas.
