Grand Cayman, February 9, 2026 - The Department of Environmental Health (DEH) is advising the public that its offices and landfills in Grand Cayman and the Sister Islands will close during the morning of Tuesday, February 10, 2026 and reopening at 1:00 p.m. to facilitate a staff meeting. Garbage collection schedule for this day will not be affected.

Any disposal of large amounts of waste on this day should be done before 8:00 a.m.; the 24-hour drop-off area will remain open to facilitate the disposal of small residential loads.

The department apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your understanding.
