The George Town Landfill will only accept 15 derelict vehicles on any given day going forward.

As a result the Department of Environmental Health is encouraging persons to call the landfill on 949-3719 to confirm when their vehicle can be accepted, and if required to book a slot for a particular day.

The public is also reminded that the George Town Landfill will now only accept derelict vehicles from Monday to Friday between the hours of 7a.m. and 4p.m.
