The first session will set the stage and provide background information on actions, including the development of the Caribbean Action Plan.

The second session will focus on the policy frameworks and the action plan. Attendees will have the opportunity to offer their input for refining and updating the document.

Abandoned, lost or discarded fishing gear (ALDFG), also known as ghost gear, refers to any gear used for fish harvesting that is no longer under the control of the harvester, regardless of the circumstances leading to such loss.
