Weather In Cayman

Synopsis

An increase in cloudiness and showers are expected across the Cayman area tonight as a tropical wave moves west across the northwest Caribbean. Radar images show isolated showers south of the Cayman Islands which are moving towards the west. The National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida is issuing advisories on tropical storm Harvey. At 4 a.m. Harvey was located near 13.8 north 65.9 west or about 280 miles south-southwest of St. Croix with maximum sustained winds near 40 mph and is presently moving towards the west at 21 mph. CAYMAN ISLANDS NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE PROGRESS OF TROPICAL STORM HARVEY AND WILL PROVIDE UPDATES ON THE STORM VIA OUR FORECAST.
