SYNOPSIS

Moderate southeasterly winds and seas will continue across the Cayman area for the next 24 hours as a ridge of high pressure lingers over the northern Gulf of Mexico. Further to our west, a broad area of low pressure will support cloudy rainy conditions spreading into the Cayman area throughout today. A gradual decrease in cloudiness and showers is expected by this evening as the area of low pressure moves northwest into the Gulf of Mexico.

Tonight:   Cloudy skies early, then partly cloudy after midnight. Winds SE 10-20 mph
