Weather In Cayman

Synopsis

An increase in cloudiness and showers are expected across the Cayman area tonight as a tropical wave moves west across the northwest Caribbean. Radar images show isolated showers south of the Cayman Islands moving west. the national hurricane center in Miami, Florida is issuing advisories on tropical storm Harvey. At 4 a.m. Harvey was located near 13.1 north 59.1 west or about 30 miles east southeast of Barbados with maximum sustained winds near 40 mph. Present movement is west at 18 mph. THE CAYMAN ISLANDS NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE PROGRESS OF TROPICAL STORM HARVEY.
