SYNOPSIS

Isolated thundershowers are forecast across the Cayman area today and into the early evening, supported by an upper-level trough over the Yucatán Peninsula. Moderate winds and slight seas are expected over the next 24 hours, due to a weak pressure gradient across the northwest Caribbean. Radar imagery shows isolated showers in and around the Cayman area moving towards the northwest.

Day: Thunderstorms during the morning will give way to cloudy skies this afternoon. Winds ENE at 10 to 20 mph.

Night:  Partly cloudy this evening, then becoming cloudy after midnight. Winds ENE at 10 to 15 mph
