Weather in Cayman

SYNOPSIS

Moderate winds and seas will continue across the Cayman area for the next 24 hours as a ridge of high pressure system lingers north of the Caribbean Sea. Sahara dust over the Caribbean Sea will continue to contribute to hazy conditions. Radar images show isolated showers in and around the Cayman area moving towards the northwest. The National Hurricane Center in Miami Florida is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Bill. This storm is north of our monitoring area and further information can be found at www.nhc.noaa.gov. This storm poses no threat to the Cayman Islands.
