Today, Wednesday, October 16, 2019, one of the highlights of The University of the West Indies' (The UWI) calendar is set to take place.

Outstanding academic, senior administrative, and professional staff from across the regional University will be recognised at the annual Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence. Professor Sir Hilary Beckles will present awards for excellence in teaching, research, service to the university community, and public service, or a combination of areas.

Members of the regional media are invited to tune in for the live broadcast of the ceremony, which will be held at The UWI Cave Hill Campus, via www.uwitv.org; UWItv on Facebook or a local UWItv channel on FLOW EVO [listing available here: https://uwitv.org/schedule].
