From RCIPS

Just after 11AM this morning, Monday 29 April, police was dispatched to the hospital where they were informed that an 85-year-old-woman who was visiting from the Florida, USA was found unresponsive at the Smith Cove Beach, South Church Street, George Town.

The woman was transported to the hospital by the Emergency Medical Services where she was pronounced dead.

There were no signs of violence on her body when she was examined.
