Awarding of JDIP to CHEC is cause of concern to all Jamaicans says OCG in the following release from their Office.  CHEC is the company that Cayman Islands premier, Hon. McKeeva Bush, is almost hell bent on employing to build the Cayman Islands Cruise Ship Facility against much criticism and suspicion. The UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth office (FCO) have also expressed their concerns as the CHEC deal doesn’t meet their requirements under the Framework for Fiscal Responsibility Bush signed in London. Bush has delayed making this law and has now said he wants an additional clause inserted that the FCO have already denied.

There is much to be concerned about as certain suspicions many of the people of the Cayman Islands have would seem to be a replica as to what has happened in Jamaica.
